tried that, and i see squares only. please check the video that will be sent.- do you see anything on lcd display ? please rotate with potentiometer to righ to see letters / squares ?
pulled it out and reinserted again, tried and still not working.- is lcd properly inserted ?

the firmware update file was available, and also checked the notes in the file, but did not find any warning or anything like that.
as far as i know, updating firmware, os, apps, etc... is the most basic and essential procedure in trouble shooting modern day electronic equipments...
let people know if it is risky?
