How to make working .HFE disk images for EPS16+?
Re: How to make working .HFE disk images for EPS16+?
quickly testing out and seems to work. what did you do to make them work?
one thing tho. there where sample banks of drum machines there (tr-626 707 808 ect.) that are missing from this (20 files less). any chance you could convert those too, or tell me how to do it myself?
thank you alot!

Just copy the efe to the root of the INPUT_EFE folder, nothing more...crc wrote:what did you do to make them work?

the .hfe images are still truning out empty when i try to do them. strangely the sound files i was looking for the most (the drum sounds) didn't convert.

You should try to directly use EPSDISK.EXE to put these EFE on a true floppy to see if this is working.crc wrote:the .hfe images are still truning out empty when i try to do them. strangely the sound files i was looking for the most (the drum sounds) didn't convert.

Not easily unfortunately ... epsdisk need to be redeveloped from scratch since no sources are available...
for the moment virtualbox or similar stuff are the only solutions...

Hi!
Did you tried this?
https://torlus.com/floppy/forum/viewtop ... =17&t=2008
It should work with Efe2HfeEps800.bat from this archive Ensoniq_EFE2HFEv2.zip mentioned in that post above.
