Freez at TRACK 2

Post by freshworks »

Hi,

I have managed to acces the SD card and scroll true the HFE's.

But now when i select a HFE file, i see TRACK 2 and freezes.

Also my D4 and D3 led's are never burning (led's are OK, did a diode test)

Can someone point me in a good direction please, i'am almost there i think!!!

Thanks a lot.

Cheers,
Jasper

Hmmm at the moment i'am using a twisted cable and seems that the led D4 is blinking 2 times after a reset.

Also in my Workbench i've got DF0:?????

When i select a HFE it says

Track 0 (and stays there)

Altought when i don't have a SD card in it, the D4 led is blinking once in a 4 seconds.

Any suggestions on how to load the HFE's ?

it looks like the same problem XYBOTS has had, but he did'nt answering anymore:

Hi to everybody!

I have the same problem.

When i try to load HFE converted from MSX-DOS .DSK file, display shows
TRACK 2_ and freezes.

Is that common problem to all boards?

And what should i try to fix this situation?

Thanks.

Ok, everything works fine now!

It was wrong cable positioning.

Another issue - can't write anything to disk. Copying by system is ok but phisically no file added to image. Maybe old firmware?

How to check, what firmware version is, without PIC flasher?

the write support works only on 256 and 512 Bytes/sectors MFM disk. what is your target computer?

write should works. Check the FLOPPY_WGATE and FLOPPY_WDATA_NOT paths (U7 and U9 chips )
