Hello
First, let me say this HxC Floppy Emulator is awesome, it works flawlessly with my Amiga 600, Atari 1024 STFM and Amstrad 6128
Now I'm trying to use it my MSX2 Philips NMS8245, but I can't get it to work...
I've done the cable adaptor shown in this pdf:
http://www.msxarchive.nl/pub/msx/mirror ... 245fdd.pdf
All I get when I type "files" to show the files in the disk, the monitor shows an error saying:
disk offline
I've tried switching pins 6 and 7 in msx conector, no luck. (Disk I/O error)
Tried too, to ground pin 34 too, no luck.
I have the HxC jumper in the same position as used for Amiga. (DS0 selected).
I've tested many times the cable adaptor and everything is conected ok.
Can anyone help me to get it to work?
Thanks!
MSX2 question.
Re: MSX2 question.
Try to move the jumper setting to ID1#. With your cable MSX DS0 are connected to the pin12 of the floppy emulator. this is the ID1# disk drive select.javidoom wrote:Hello

I also recommend you to upgrade your firmware :javidoom wrote:Thanks!!
That was it!
After that, I've changed again the pins 6 and 7 and this time it worked!
Maybe it had a bad contact making so changes...
Thanks again for your fast answer.
This is an awesome product, really!!
