Re: Akai MPC 60 & Akai S950
Nooo, I would never sell my Ninefitty. All the memories and trouble we went through!
In summer I took just the front panel and visited my brother to get the new plexiglas
and buttons fit in. On the way back I forgot the part of my luggage with the 950 front in
the train! Luckily, the bag was found by the train personel. When I called the luggage
service I had to tell them a distinctive feature of my luggage. I told them that there
is a beige panel inside and it's written on it "Akai S950".
I got another S950. A friend of mine bought a big mixing console from a techno dude
and when we were there I noticed that he tried to get rid of all his equipment. I asked him
what he wants for the 950 and he said that I can take it for free, cause he didn't know if it
still works and it collected dust in his rack for over 10years. It works perfect and It should
get an floppy emulator too!
Oh I like those equipment stories
Thanks for the compliments!
