I have been thinking about buying an extra HxC and use it together with my existing HxC in an Amiga 1200.
In this case the HxC F in a white case. I already have a HxC slim.
My question is this:
If I use a pc twisted floppy cable to connect both HxC to the same amiga
and then jump the HxC F as DF0 + DF1 and the slim HxC as DF2 and DF3
will that then work allowing me to have 4 emulated floppy drives on a single computer?
(I plan to use the indexed mode on the cards in the HxC slim so that I can change floppy images in the slim without needing any UI)
Two HxC in same Amiga
Re: Two HxC in same Amiga
Yes this is possible but you need add two wires connected from the external floppy port. DF2 & DF3 select lines are only present on the external port.CBMFreak wrote:I have been thinking about buying an extra HxC and use it together with my existing HxC in an Amiga 1200.
