Hi!
I noticed that a DIVIDE 2k11 is available for purchase which is the same idea as an IDE interface available for PC's (XT-IDE) with 8-bit ISA slots.
Any chance in the future that Lotharek would build a xt-ide 8-bit interface card for vintage pc's that permit the use of Compact Flash hard drives on XT class machines (IBM, Tandy, Clones). There is pretty much noone selling cards with these capabilities, and the ones that are are charging ridiculously overpriced amounts for them. I would love to see more support to keep vintage pc systems alive.
Here is a page referring to the rev2 version: http://www.vintage-computer.com/vcforum ... XTIDE+Rev2
and a page for a version built with a Compact Flash interface: http://www.lo-tech.co.uk/wiki/XT-CF-lite#BIOS
XT IDE Interface?

Re: XT IDE Interface?
$125 and above. Many selling at $200 or more.
Its either build it yourself and buy the PCB and parts yourself, or buy it at a very high price pre-made. There are old XT-IDE interface cards, but they as well come at a very high price.

Re: XT IDE Interface?
I bought one and it was worth EVERY penny (for myself, IMHO)
Re: XT IDE Interface?
Yes I have since purchased 6 from lo-tech and built them myself. At the time, a cost effective solution wasn't yet available.
