Hello all, i recently bought a REV F SD Floppy Drive Emulator for my Yamaha SU700 Sampler but can´t get it to work because it doesn´t recognize the SD card.
This is what i have done already:
1-Replaced the sampler´s zip unit with the floppy emulator.
2-Selected the ID1-A jumper (other yamaha devices uses this one)
3-Formated a SanDisk Ultra (30MB/s) HC-I, 16GB SD Card with the next format: "MS-DOS (FAT 32) - MBR"
*I am doing this process with an iMac OS X El Capitan.
4-Introduced the SD Card into the sampler to can format it but the floppy emulator doesn´t recognize the card and the sampler says the card is protected.
*The physical card lock is set to off
I would like to know if someone has an idea of what could be the problem.
Thanks a lot guys!

Re: Yamaha SU700 music production tool
You need at at least an file image (HFE) and one CFG file on the SD.
I think that i have answered you by email.

Re: Yamaha SU700 music production tool
It does. Use the 1.44MB PC images with the ID1-A switch set to on.

Thank you Jeff for your reply.
Could you give me a brief description of the instructions to install the unit and how to program the USB stick, just so I have an idea of what I'm getting myself into?
What does "use the 1.44MB PC images and IDI-A switch" mean?
Please, forgive my lack of knowledge.
