Let me know how the thing works.
Hi Jeff,
do you have the firmware for the mpc3000? I can't find nReady2 in my options with firmware HXCFE_V1_8_2_40 - MPC is not seeing an ejected disk operation.
thanks
Hello,
I recently bought a SDHC HxC floppy emulator, model rev f to use with my mpc 3000. But I don't have the 'nRead2' option in my firmware, which I got from the shared 'Quick install-floppy disk images' file in the forum. Can I request a firmware file including 'nRead2' option?
Thanks
Hi,
yes it works to a point. I have to do the workaround by ejecting the virtual floppy then telling the MPC to load the ejected drive so that it says "Attention - There is no floppy disk in the drive", every time I want to load a or save on a new disk. Saving more than 1.44MB of data is also tricky so have to spread the data across multiple programs. It works well enough to be better than carrying around a bunch of floppy disks but it is not completely seamless.
