We have legacy test equipment that relies on 3.5" floppy drives for data recording.
I've seen some floppy to USB hardware emulators going from $360 to over $1000 each. Here's an example of one: www.ipcas.com/shop/networ...
Its standalone, nicely enclosed and has buttons for changing from floppy disk 0 through floppy disk 99. Basically it is allowing you to have 100 1.44mb floppies on a flash drive. If you guys could make something like this in the same formfactor for less money, the test equipment market would surely embrace a cheaper version of this! Gods how I distaste bad floppies!
